Credit, three hours. A study of the theories and polices of economic development, along with the factors that underlie economic development. Emphasis is placed on the less-developed or Third-World countries and the obstacles to economic development therein. Prerequisite(s): EC 201 and EC 202, or by permission of the instructor.
