Credit, three hours. A history of the development of western philosophical thought within its cultural contexts in the Middle Ages. Philosophical problems such as the nature of faith, reason, universals, and God will be considered in the thought of Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Boethius, Abelard, Anselm, and Aquinas. Prerequisite(s): PY 101.
