Maximum credit, eight hours. Courses offered to provide opportunities for students to pursue an independent research project in the major area, with the approval of the advisor, instructor, and the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Prerequisite(s): Completion of at least eighteen semester hours with a 3.00 GPA or higher in the major. (See independent study contract for requirements and details.)
