University of Mobile’s Master of Arts in Musical Theatre is a professional oriented program, which prepares students as an advanced professional practitioner or teacher of theatrical practice in order to become a vested marketable performer in theatre or educational training.

Applied Music Requirements
- Applied Voice (4 semester hours)
- MUA 531 Gradaute Applied Voie (2 consecutive semesters)
- Applied Vocal Coaching (2 semester hours)
- MUA 557 Graduate Vocal Coaching (2 consecutive semesters)
Theatre & Music Electives
- Students will choose 3 credit hours of any theatre course and 3 credit hours of any music or theatre courses at the graduate level, for a total of 6 credit hours of electives.
Notes
- Depending on students acting experience. TH 502 Acting I may be substituted for TH 536 Period Styles.
- Based on advisor recommendation, student may take an additional Theatre or Music courses.
Hours to Degree
31-34 hours are needed to graduate with a Master of Arts in Musical Theatre degree.
