Requirements

A minor in marine science requires a minimum of 18 hours

• BIO 211 General Biology I
• BIO 212 General Biology II
• CH 201 General Chemistry I
• MAR 340 Marine Biology
• Plus one additional upper level BIO/MAR elective to be taken at DISL.

Courses may not be used for both a major and minor of any natural sciences degree (e.g., BIO 211 and BIO 212 may not be used for both a major in biology and a minor in marine science). In this instance, students must substitute appropriate science electives to fulfill the 18 hour requirement.
