University of Mobile’s Master of Arts in Musical Theatre is a professional oriented program, which prepares students as an advanced professional practitioner or teacher of theatrical practice in order to become a vested marketable performer in theatre or educational training.

Theatre & Music Electives

Students will choose 3 credit hours of any theatre course and 3 credit hours of any music or theatre courses at the graduate level, for a total of 6 credit hours of electives.

Notes

Depending on students acting experience. TH 502 Acting I may be substituted.
Based on advisor recommendation, student will take an additional Theatre, Music Theory or Composition course.
Students must take a total for four credit hours in Graduate Applied Voice. This may be done by enrolling in two credit hours per semester.
