Eighteen Semester Hours, Including

A minor in music consists of eighteen semester hours, including:

• MU 101 Theory I
• MU 101L Theory Laboratory I
• MU 102 Theory I
• MU 102L Theory Laboratory I
• Applied Music (i.e. private lessons) (4 Semester Hours)
• Music Upper Level (300 & 400) (6 Semester Hours)

Note:

(2-3 hours must be completed in a music course and the remainder hours may be in 300-level & 400-level ensemble hours. No applied hours may be counted.)
