Registered nurses who have been practicing nursing within three of the last five years and who have graduated from an accredited Associate Degree Nursing Program, such as an NLNAC accredited program, may be considered for admission.

Fifty Eight Hours of Nursing Courses
Students in the RN-to-BSN career program must complete 58 hours of nursing courses including Note:
Nursing courses may be completed in 3 academic periods (semesters) by following the suggested sequence below. A minor is not required. Registered nurses may validate 30 semester hours of nursing credit by completing NU 400 with a C or better. Students must also complete non-nursing courses as listed below. Required Courses (65 Hours)
- Humanities and Fine Arts, must include two courses in composition (18 Hours)
- Christian Ministries CMS (6 Hours) (must include CMS 310 and CMS 321 or CMS 331 )
- Natural Science and Applied Science must include one course in basic statistics (18 Hours)
- Social Sciences and Behavioral Studies (18 Hours)
- Electives (5 Hours)
Note:
Center for Adult Programs students are exempt from chapel (see the appropriate section of this catalog for specific information). Nursing Courses (62 Hours)
Suggested Nursing Course Sequence
Note:
The non-nursing courses may be taken through the Center for Adult Programs. A plan for completing these courses will be individualized for each student based on courses and hours needed. Electives should be in social sciences and behavioral studies. Total Semester Hours: One Hundred Twenty Seven Hours
