Summer Academic Period Notes:

1. Holidays: Memorial Day (May 27), Independence Day (July 4).
2. Terms IV and V classes are in session unless the University is closed.
3. *Beginning/Ending Dates for Terms IV and V overlap.
4. FRESHMEN and TRANSFER Registration date (June 10).
5. ACT Residual June 29.
6. Terms IV, V, VI and VII students should consult the class schedule for class dates.
7. Terms IV, V, VI and VII students should consult the registrar’s office and business office concerning drop/add dates and withdrawal from classes.

Days the University offices are closed: May 27 and July 4, 2013.

Added and/or Dropped Courses and Withdrawal from the University

Terms I, II, III

• Courses dropped after the 1^st day of the term incur a drop fee and receive a 100% refund of tuition.
• Courses dropped after the 3^rd class meeting will incur a drop fee and no refund of tuition.
• Courses may be added before the 4^th class meeting without permission.
• Courses may be changed to audit before the 4^th class meeting.
• Courses may be dropped without the “F” penalty before the 10^th class meeting.

Terms IV, and V

• Courses dropped after the 1^st class meeting will receive a 100% refund of tuition.
• Courses dropped after the 2^nd class meeting will incur a drop fee and no refund of tuition.
• Courses may be added before the 2^nd class meeting without permission.
• Courses may be changed to audit before the 2^nd class meeting.

1. Institutional Workshop: August 12-14.
2. Holidays: Labor Day (September 2) and Thanksgiving (November 25-29-Term I; University closed 27-29).
3. Fall Break (Classes not in session for Term I): October 9-11.
4. Last day to apply for Graduation: September 13.
5. Registration for Spring academic period: October 28-November 8.
6. ACT Residual October 5.

• Day courses may be dropped without the “F” penalty before November 5 and evening courses may be dropped without the “F” penalty before the 10^th class meeting.
