The purpose of the Department of Computer Information Systems is to prepare students to professionally and competently utilize information technology solutions and business processes to meet the information and technology needs of businesses and other organizations. Majors will become skilled in 1) programming, 2) information management, 3) database management, 4) systems analysis, and 5) other current aspects of computer information technology.  Computer Information Systems majors may take a maximum of three BBA courses to fulfill major requirements.
