Credit, one hour. An introductory course that provides the student with the skills necessary to perform assessment of clients. Focuses on assessment as a basis for determining needs for implementing the nursing process. Involves an assessment lab for practice in systems assessment. Prerequisite(s): Admission to A.D.N.
