EE 513 Teaching Literacy and Language Essentials in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Collaborative K-6 Classrooms

This course provides an analysis of methodologies and instructional techniques and considers application of methods to the skills and content areas of literacy and language essentials. Emphasizes appropriate grade level content and skills for teaching communication skills through the interrelationship of speaking, listening, reading, writing, and spelling for Early Childhood, Elementary, and Collaborative K-6 classroom settings. This course requires field experience in approved school settings. Prerequisite(s): TE 525
