EE 512 Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary School

Credit, three hours.
Emphasizes methods of presenting mathematical concepts and skills to elementary school children. Emphasis is placed on thinking about and discovering mathematical concepts. Opportunities are provided for developing multi-level materials appropriate for elementary children. This course requires field experience in approved school settings. Prerequisite(s): TE 525
