BIO 346 Dolphins and Whales Credit, two hours. This course, designed for advanced Marine Science and Biology majors, will be an introduction to the biology of cetaceans ( toothed and baleen whales). Topics covered will include evolution, taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, genetics, behavior, and conservation-related to species within this Order. Lab exercises will introduce current methods used in cetacean research.
