TE 382 Child Guidance in Early Childhood

Credit, three hours
This course explores theoretical foundations of guiding young children in developing positive social skills and emotional self-regulation. Emphasis is placed on best practices for ensuring a positive learning environment to minimize future social and behavioral difficulties. Organization of time, materials, and classroom space will be discussed. This course requires field experience hours in an approved early childhood setting.
