KIN 406 Methods and Materials for Teaching Health (6-12) Credit, three hours. This course covers scope and sequence, methods, materials, preparation of equipment, teaching aids, and other resources especially designed for teaching health in grades 6-12. Students will be required to plan short term and long term lessons, teach multiple lessons, and use multiple assessments for Health Education. A minimum of 35 field experience hours will be required. Prerequisite(s): TE 306 and admission into the teacher education program.
