BIO 310 Genetics


A study of the basic principles of inheritance, including Mendelian principles, mechanisms of gene action and transfer, and population genetics. Topics in molecular biology, genetic diseases, and the role of genetics in biotechnology will also be addressed. This course is designed for Biology majors and does not fulfill the core requirement of a laboratory science course for nonscience majors. Three hours lecture. Three hours lecture.
