Surveys principles, programs, theories, strategies, developmentally appropriate practices, curricula, and organization in early childhood education. Includes historical, philosophical, psychological, and sociological foundations of early childhood education. Requires a minimum of fourteen hours of professional laboratory experiences in school settings. (WI) Credit, three hours.
