French Minor

Requirements


Students minoring in a modern foreign language will be required to complete eighteen hours in the same language; at least six semester hours must be at the 300 level or above.

“Students with one to three years of French at the secondary level should begin with FR 101 Elementary French I

Students with four years or more of French at the secondary level should begin with FR 201 Intermediate French I

French minors typically take one either

FR 301 Advanced French Composition & Conversation I OR

FR 302 Advanced French Composition & Conversation II in the Fall semester and a rotating 300 - level course in the Spring semester.

Students with one to three years of Spanish at the secondary level should begin with SP 101 Elementary Spanish I

Students with four years or more of Spanish at the secondary level should begin with SP 201 Intermediate Spanish I

Spanish minors typically take either

SP 301 Advanced Spanish Composition & Conversation I OR 

SP 302 Advanced Spanish Composition & Conversation II in the Fall semester and a rotating 300 - level course in the Spring semester.”
