Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies


The Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies coordinates the University’s online degree and course offerings with the goal of making it possible for all students to pursue their education in a supportive Christ-centered environment of academic excellence.

Undergraduate Admission  

Recommended Course Load for Students in the Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies 

Typical Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies offerings are scheduled in a format that allows students to complete two courses at a time, for a total of four courses each fall and spring semester, and a total of two courses each summer. Based on this format, the recommended course load for Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies students is twelve semester hours in the fall, twelve semester hours in the spring, and six semester hours in the summer. This schedule is designed to allow students to progress quickly toward graduation, and it confers full-time status for financial aid purposes.

Financial Aid Information for Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies Students

Aid available to eligible Alabama College for Professional and Continuing Studies students includes the Pell Grant, the Federal Subsidized Loan, and the Federal Unsubsidized Loan. Veterans’ benefits and the Alabama State Grant are also available for those who qualify.
