CH 312 Organic Reactions and Mechanisms
Advanced organic chemistry for science majors, building on the fundamentals covered in , with an emphasis on reaction mechanisms, spectroscopy, chemistry of aromatic compounds, carbonyl chemistry, and organic synthesis. Laboratory exercises will provide experiential learning to reinforce topics taught in CH 312. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in .
