AT 570 General Medical Conditions Assessment

Credit, three hours
This course is designed to present a collection of knowledge, skills, and values that the athletic training student must possess to recognize, treat and refer when appropriate, the general medical conditions and disabilities of athletes and others involved in physical activity over a lifespan. Observation within a General Medical facility, 10 hours will be required throughout the semester. Three hours lecture. Prerequisite(s): Admission into the MAT program and successful completionof all courses within Term I-IV
