CR 426 Senior Internship or Capstone Project

Credit, three hours.
During the senior year the student will choose either an internship or a capstone project. Students choosing an internship will be placed with a government or community organization to obtain experiential learning and skill development. The student will serve 135 hours on-site for 3 semester hours credit. If they choose the capstone project, they will either write a thesis or conduct a research project that demonstrates their mastery of a particular area of criminology. The internship or project must be approved by a Criminology advisor. (WI)
