CIS 563 Accounting and Management Information Systems


Provides an analysis of the types of information necessary for the manager in making effective decisions. Stress is placed on tools and techniques for computer-based information systems, internal reports, and accounting records as they contribute to the solution of decision-making problems. Relevant case studies and projects are utilized. The course will emphasize practical applications, using spreadsheets, databases, decision making, and computer simulation using current management and finance software.
