EN 503 Professional Seminar in Non-fiction Writing

Credit, three hours.
This course provides an advanced study of skills required for writing creative non-fiction. Creative non-fiction, in the context of this course, describes writing as diverse as long-form essays, scholarly studies for literary journals, investigative journalism, and memoire. Students will read texts across these genres and produce their own writing. The workshop in this course will be central.
