MFC 582 Marriage and Family Counseling Internship I Credit, three hours. Provides student weekly individual and group supervision while student performs all the activities that a regularly employed Marriage and Family Counselor would be expected to perform. For those students pursuing the Licensed Professional Counselor credential, this course begins their accrual of the 600 clock hours (at least 240 of which must be direct service to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups) required for internship. Prerequisite(s): MFC 579 and special permission of the instructor.
