CH 346 Hazardous Materials and Toxicology

Credit, three hours.
An introduction to hazardous materials and waste, their handling, management, and regulation. The course provides an overview of the chemical characteristics and toxicology of hazardous materials, requirements for risk assessment and communication, personal protection and safety, waste minimization, and environmental remediation.
