Fall Academic Period 2026
Monday, August 17-Thursday, December 10

Late Registration/Academic Advisement for Fall Academic Period 2026: August 10 - 13.
Fall Academic Period Ends with Final Grades to Registrar: December 14.

Fall Academic Period Notes:

  1. Institutional Workshop:  August 10-13.
  2. Holidays: Labor Day (September 7); Thanksgiving (November 23-27); University closed (November 25-27); Christmas (December 18, 21-25, & 28-31- January 1); New Year’s Day (January 1).
  3. Fall Break (Classes not in session for -Term I):  October 7-9.
  4. Registration for Spring academic period begins:  October 26.
  5. ACT Residual TBA.
  6. Evening students should consult the class schedule for class dates.
  7. Evening students should consult the registrar’s office and business office concerning drop/add dates and withdrawal from classes.
  8. Final exams for Term I only (December -10).

Days the University offices are closed: September 7, November 25-27, December 18, 21-25, & 28-31- January 1, 2027.

 

Added and/or Dropped Courses and Withdrawal from the University

Term I

  • Courses dropped after August 28 will receive no refund of tuition. Courses added after August 25 may incur additional tuition and fees. See Business Office.
  • Evening courses dropped after the 3rd class meeting will receive no refund of tuition.
  • Day courses may be added with special permission before August 26 and evening courses may be added before the 2nd class meeting.
  • Day courses may be added or changed to audit without permission before August 20 and evening courses may be changed to audit before the 2nd class meeting.
  • Day courses may be dropped without the “F” penalty by November 3 and evening courses may be dropped without the “F” penalty before the 10th class meeting.


Terms II & III

  • Courses dropped after the eighth day of the term no refund of tuition. 
  • Courses may be added before the 2nd class meeting without permission.
  • Courses may be changed to audit before the 2nd class meeting.
  • Courses may be dropped without the “F” penalty before the 5th class meeting.

A withdrawal is processed when a student ceases attendance before the end of the academic period.

Evening classes will give final examinations on the class night during exam week (December 7-10). 

Online classes will give final examinations during exam week (December 7-10) as scheduled by faculty.                                                                                                                

Faculty should follow the exam schedule UNLESS permission is granted by the Dean and the VPAA.  Students should expect to take exams when they are scheduled. 

If you see that you cannot, you may submit a Change to Examination Schedule Request to the Academic Affairs Office by October 23 for consideration.

   Final Grades due to Registrar’s Office by 2:00 p.m. December 14

Summer Term V (Full Term)

  • Courses dropped after May 21 will receive no tuition refund.
