Center for Christian Calling

Mission of the Center for Christian Calling

The mission of the Center for Christian Calling is to produce graduates with a heart of devotion to Christ, a head for Gospel-integrated knowledge, and hands equipped for service as Kingdom professionals.  Our faculty model academic excellence and professional competence blended with a passionate devotion to Christ in leading His church to its global mission.

Calling to Christian Faith

Every student at the University of Mobile is introduced to the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our required CCC courses: CST 110 Introduction to Christian Worldview and CST 321 Mission & Message of Jesus.  Our goal is to introduce students to faith in Christ and for students to discover their calling in Christ for service as Kingdom professionals.

Calling to Ministry

Every undergraduate major in the CCC receives spiritual training, academic training, and practical ministry training for Christian service.  Our students participate in ministry teams each semester, travel on domestic and international service projects, and gain hands-on experience through supervised ministry internships.  Students may also take specialty practical ministry courses as electives.

Calling to Leadership

Every undergraduate & graduate student in the CCC receives training for servant leadership.  Our alumni serve in ministry, missions, education, communications, and service industries.  Many of our alumni continue their academic training in graduate schools and seminaries.
